Antonio E. Bifero, DC, MS, MBA, DAAIM
Professional Experience: a primary care chiropractic physician and certified
acupuncturist who specialize in functional medicine and disorders of the spine. Dr. Bifero’s undergraduate and
graduate education includes BS, Biology and MS, Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois, an MBA from
Dominican University concentrating on healthcare administration, and Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from
National University of Health Sciences.
Currently he is an assistant professor of medical microbiology and clinical microbiology laboratory in the department
of Pathology and Microbiology at the National University of Health Sciences. Prior to his career as a chiropractic
physician he spent several years in biomedical research in the areas of pulmonary fibrosis and molecular microbiology
and has authored numerous scientific papers. Dr. B also worked as a Anesthesia Technologist at Loyola University Medical
Centers Trauma Unit during his undergraduate medical days.
Dr. Bifero remains on top of the latest techniques in integrative medicine “…Teaching has always been, for me, a way to
